Weight transfer back foot

When playing back, attempt to transfer most of the weight onto the back foot. Transferring the weight onto the back foot creates a solid base or foundation for the shot which helps the batsman to strike the ball with more power and control. It is often impossible to transfer the weight back perfectly; this is not a problem and will happen. If the batsman has the time to transfer the weight then this is ideal.
