Throwing crow hop exercise

This exercise develops the crow hop which is an important movement for players to generate momentum through the throw and to setup up the feet.

Players with baseball mits should position themselves in pairs about 15-20 metres apart.

From a standing position, the crop hop commences with a hop lead by the back leg. This is followed by aligning the feet to the target and turning the front shoulder and elbow to the target.

Follow through over the front leg and let your momentum take you in the direction of the throw.
